i haven't logged on for a while, well, maybe almost a year, and i don't plan to anytime soon. i feel bad-ish about my flakiness over the years, so i'm just gonna call it quits for good from EL. my characters tho could use a new master and home, if you would like to use them hit me up in pm for passwords, or i might offter Talis as a tradebot or a guardbot if you ever get a guild map, orrrr a librarian bot.

(Talis is a almost 50's one, just needs some time, has some good stuff that can help you to build a well rounded character, OwenDarklock is still in early stage, can be used for grind work, or a good character to start over with if you want to go back to early game, and Valadan is just shy of a newb, so an even better character for grind work, or starting over, or for a new player to use)

if i don't hear from anyone i'll leave pw's with Lorelai or Shadowgate (i know sharing passwords is frowned upon but i really don't care what happens with these characters, i just want to move on)

thanks Lore, i mean it's something i wish i could get back into but whenever i've logged in it's just felt rather discouraging to see no one around. i miss all my old friends. can you believe i joined LORC back in its beginnings, 11 years ago...it was a fun time, but obviously being only a knight after 11 years i didn't take it half as seriously as most other people. i just was around to hang out, and when dry times came i would usually just end up playing less and less til i went away for years...

and strangely, despite the pandemic, it's been a real dry time on EL these last two years too.

but maybe we're all outgrowing all this.

anyways, if any of ya'll feel like keeping in touch i hang out on Twitch under 'sharkle82' and Discord these days, got rid of Twitter for good. I might start streaming games soon, but it won't be a major project, just chill for now.

Popping into the game today, there's still people around, but it's nothing like it used to be. Not even 300 people online, and many of them are AFK or alts. I log in and #gm is dead. People have moved on to other guilds without even saying anything here. It's like when Nessa disappeared, she took LoRC with her, and it makes me sad because this is not how I wanted everything to end.

But EL as a game hasn't kept up with anything. It's looked the same since it first came out, and not even radu cares to try to make improvements. He's losing money too on it. I think I keep coming back out of nostalgia.

I think we're all just too busy.
