Why (and How to) Join the Legion?

Why Join the Legion?
Want to embark on your Eternal Lands journey and have people to chat with? Maybe you want to hang around with fun loving people who don't mind helping? Or perhaps you want a trustworthy person to rescue you (or your deathbag)? Not sure what to do with all those pickpoints you've amassed, or where to put them to have an awesome tank character and wish you had people to ask for advice? Need an item and no one seems to sell it (but a guildie can make it)? Are you having trouble finishing (or starting) quests?

If you said "yes" to any of those questions, you're in luck, because the Legion has all of those things and more! But why should you join this particular one?

Because LoRC has guild events such as ceremonies, group harvesting (for essences, creature food, Badaran ingredients) and a whole bunch of teamwork. We offer the chance to forge life long friendships or, dare I say, forge an entirely new family with your comrades as members. You can do your own thing and know that you have people at your back if you need someone. And let's not forget our illustrious allies who help support LoRC in times of trouble when they're called upon.

Oh, so you want to join the Legion then? Well come on in, sit down, let's talk. Do you meet the criteria below?

- You MUST be 18 years or older to join! (If the occasional "mature" guild chat offends you, I would suggest seeking out an all ages oriented guild.)
- You have to have one non-overall and non-harvesting skill over 30.
- You must agree to our Code of Conduct (located in this same forum).
- You must go through the vouching process by joining @39993, where you can meet and chat with various members over a period of time to see how you might fit in. If you pass this final "test", you will be given an invitation to join LoRC.

You just bought/recieved a character from someone else and want to join LoRC?

To be honest, there are some individuals out there in the EL community that simply don’t fit well with a chilled out and helpful guild like LoRC. So, we want to make sure that those don’t sneak into our realm. With the safety of the guildies and LoRCs reputation in mind, we ask for your understanding that we need a couple of extra information from players who bought or traded characters within the last year:

- What was your original char and what others did you have?
- Who sold you the char (EL name and/or Unofficial Forums contact)?
- When did you get the char you are now playing?
- If you had the char name changed, what was the previous name?

During your time in channel 39993 the guild officers and council members will ask you these questions. Of course, truthful answers are in your benefit there
